Texas A&M has gotten off to a strong start on the recruiting trail under Jimbo Fisher. And after adding 2019 recruit DeMarvin Leal, earlier in the day on Wednesday, the Aggies landed a commitment from 2020 offensive lineman Josh Bankhead, according to multiple reports.
Bankhead is a 6-foot-5 offensive tackle prospect and is the second 2020 prospect to commit to Texas A&M, joining 4-star guard Jordan Jefferson. Bankhead is unranked in the 247Sports composite rankings and hails from The Woodlands, Texas.
The Aggies currently have the No. 5 recruiting class for the 2019 cycle, led by 5-star safety Brian Williams. The Aggies wrapped up their spring practice this past weekend.
Texas A&M recruited well under Kevin Sumlin, but it never translated to the field. Under new coach Jimbo Fisher, the Aggies will look to change that trend. Texas A&M opens the 2018 season on Aug. 30 against Northwestern State.
