A disappointing Thanksgiving spilled into Black Friday for Kevin Sumlin and Texas A&M.
After losing to LSU on Thursday, the Aggies lost a commitment from their Class of 2017 on Friday.
3-star JUCO defensive end Tyree Owens (Copiah-Lincoln C.C.) tweeted Friday evening that he was opening up his recruitment.
I would like to thank TAMU for the opportunity to play for them. But I am now officially reopening my recruitment. Thank you

Owens, rated the No. 7 strongside defensive end in the country by 247Sports, originally committed to the Aggies in October, choosing them over Auburn.
He reportedly has 10 offers in hand, including Mississippi State, Alabama, Auburn and South Carolina.
Texas A&M’s Class of 2017 is ranked ninth in the nation by 247Sports.
