SEC fans worried about what Hurricane Matthew would do to the football schedule this week.
But Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett provided the proper perspective in the postgame press conference after beating Tennessee, asking people to help the victims, particularly in Florida and Haiti.

Garrett — who had 3 tackles, 1 sack and a tackle for loss in the 45-38 double-overtime win — could be the first pick in next spring’s NFL draft.
He showed Saturday he’s ready to use his platform for good.
“If you can just support them, send some love, maybe send some letters, send some money, send some clothes you don’t need or a canned food, it would be much appreciated and it would go a long way,” Garrett said.
Garrett mentioned helping Mission of Hope, which can be supported by texting @mohhaiti to 52014 or by making an online donation here.
