Texas A&M to debut reflective helmets for a noon kickoff
Texas A&M announced back in August that it would debut its new all-black #AggieNights uniforms against South Carolina on Oct. 31.
One part of the uniform that had Aggie fans excited for the Halloween showdown against the Gamecocks was the special helmets’ “reflective technology,” which allows the “Lone Star” decal logos on the sides to light up at night.
But here’s the problem: The so-called #AggieNights game won’t be played at night. In fact, SEC announced Monday afterenoon that kickoff for the Halloween game will be played in broad daylight at noon. ET.
After watching their Aggies lose to Alabama and seeing them fall down the AP Poll the next morning, Texas A&M fans can’t seem to catch a break lately.
