Texas A&M’s non-conference finale against Texas-San Antonio has a kickoff time and TV update.
The fourth-ranked Aggies (7-2, 4-2 SEC) will host the Roadrunners (5-4) at noon ET Saturday, Nov. 19 at Kyle Field. Either ESPN2 or ESPNU will broadcast the game.
As quickly as Texas A&M’s playoff chances appeared, they vanished. After ranking No. 4 in the initial College Football Playoff poll, the Aggies fell to Mississippi State, 35-28, and trailed by as many as 21 points before making a furious fourth-quarter comeback. A strong finish to the season could still put them into contention for a prestigious bowl game, even though though the CFP goal died in Starkville.
However, that strong finish might be tough given the uncertain status of star quarterback Trevor Knight. Knight, a redshirt senior, injured his shoulder in the loss to the Bulldogs and the severity of the injury is not yet known.
