Former Texas A&M standouts Von Miller and Johnny Manziel are in very different places right now.
Miller was just named the MVP of Super Bowl 50, which his Denver Broncos won 24-10 on Sunday night. On the other hand, Manziel’s NFL future is very much up in the air after persistent off-the-field issues have reportedly jeopardized his position with the Cleveland Browns.
Following arguably the best performance of his career, Miller sent out a message to his former teammate.
“My heart goes out to you, buddy,” Miller said, via 9News’ Mike Klis. “Come on, let’s get it right. Gig’em.”
Additionally, Miller took to Instagram with another message for Manziel last night.
“I Love you fam!” he wrote. “Grind, get back to Johnny all the ags know and love, Grind bro, 2yrs ago they counted me out, 2yrs frm now you can do the same!! Support no matter what!
Manziel has drawn national attention for off-field problems, the latest a disturbing episode in which he was accused of striking an ex-girlfriend and using drugs.
Manziel’s father added that he believes his son is suicidal.
As Manziel continues to try and correct his issues, it’s clear his former teammates and friends are offering their support.
