WATCH: Former Texas A&M WR Mike Evans makes great catch after wild scramble by QB Jameis Winston
Marvelous, Mike Evans.
The former Texas A&M wide receiver made an athletic grab in the third quarter of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 36-10 victory against the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. The play resulted in a 39-yard gain to Chicago’s 38-yard line as part of a 4-play, 77-yard drive that ended in a touchdown and gave Tampa Bay a 24-10 lead.
Of course, quarterback Jameis Winston’s scramble is terrific as well. (Someone start the circus music.)
Give the connection a look:

Evans, the seventh overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, has matured into one of the Bucs’ best pass-catching options. He finished Sunday with 4 catches for 66 yards. He leads Tampa Bay in receiving with 59 catches for 811 yards and a NFL-leading 8 touchdowns this season.
It will be interesting to follow Evans’ NFL career. At 6-foot-5, 231 pounds, he’s a tall target who can exploit defenses with his size. The Bucs have been inconsistent during his professional career. But if their offense continues to grow with Winston behind center, Evans should find plenty of opportunities to make his presence known.
