The Seattle Seahawks had to be upset after their performance on Saturday. They got manhandled for the entire second half in their 36-20 divisional-round loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
Quarterback Matt Ryan played another great game, and a reporter asked Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett about it. He gave an enraged response.
“We got a lot of pressure. He threw the ball really fast,” Bennett said via The News Tribue’s Gregg Bell. “Obviously you don’t know football, so there was some s*** that happened. He threw the ball really fast. He did his thing. We rushed as good as we could.
“Don’t do that! Get out of my face now! Don’t tell me I didn’t do my job m***** f******. Get the **** out of my face!… Like I said get out of my face! Don’t play with me! Don’t play with me! I just put my heart on the ******* field, don’t ******* play with me! Get the **** out my face, then. Try me again and see what happens.”

This has not been a good year for the Seahawks and the media. For nearly a month, the story has been cornerback Richard Sherman’s battle against the press.
However, they seem to scream at everyone. They scream at each other and coaches as well. Maybe it’s healthy, or maybe it’s a contender that is feeling its window closing. Whatever the case, it has been quite a year in Seattle.
Bennett played at Texas A&M from 2005-08, when he collected 112 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
