It appears that Johnny Manziel is preparing for a second chance in professional football.
After getting clearance to be signed by a CFL team, Manziel seems serious about making a comeback after not having played a down of professional football in the last two seasons.
And on Friday, Manziel dropped a trailer promoting his #COMEBACK$ZN, which mostly featured highlights of him from his days at Texas A&M, him working out and the occasional Cleveland Browns highlight.
Through the good the bad. The ups and the downs I won’t stop until I get back. Whether that’s North or South of the border I promise you the #ComebackSZN is happening. https://t.co/rJa86X04Yl pic.twitter.com/ARQIogCG1S

Manziel has not played since being released by the Cleveland Browns following the 2015 season. Manziel’s rights are owned by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and the team has reportedly offered him a contract, though Manziel has yet to sign it.
The former Texas A&M quarterback won the 2012 Heisman Trophy and led the Aggies to 20 wins in his two seasons there. The Browns made him the No. 22 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
In 2015, Manziel started six games for the Browns and appeared in 10 contests. He completed 57 percent of his passes and threw 7 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. It’s worth pointing out that the Browns won two of Manziel’s starts that year, went 1-9 in games he didn’t start that season and are 1-31 since releasing Manziel.
Manziel is also selling merchandise for his comebackszn. He also added that whether it’s happening “north or south of the border,” Manziel as a real-life Kenny Powers would be rather perfect.
