Texas A&M’s defense appears to be improving in its second season under legendary defensive coordinator John Chavis. But on this one, you just have to give credit to Aggies DB Armani Watts for an outstanding play.
In what may be a SportsCenter “Top 10” worthy play, Watts stepped in front of a slant pattern to break up a pass against South Carolina on Saturday afternoon. The effort to break it up cleanly would be enough alone to be considered a solid defensive play. But Watts took things to another level, bouncing out of the contact with the Gamecocks’ intended receiver to dive with outstretched arms and haul in an interception.
Take a look at the amazing play:
Look good. Play good.
