After trailing Alabama for the entire first half, the Aggies needed just one second-half drive to take the lead.
Quarterback Trevor Knight tossed a 25-yard dime to wide receiver Christian Kirk on the Aggies’ opening drive of the second half. The catch was Kirk’s seventh on the day.

“Right down the chimney,” Gary Danielson said of the throw.
This is the first time the Aggies have led at Alabama since the 2012 game against the Crimson Tide when Johnny Manziel was the Aggies quarterback.
