There’s a new name on the presidential ballot.
He hasn’t been campaigning much, but fixed that on Tuesday.
Starting quarterback Trevor Knight took the podium this week with his two backup quarterbacks, Jake Hubenak and Conner McQueen, to announce the presidential candidacy of McQueen.
The trio showed up in the in bottom down shirts, ties, blazers and shorts.
When asked about his platform, McQueen offered a simple response.
“Gig ’em,’ he told reporters.
The Aggies quarterback was also asked what it would mean to be the first redheaded president in United States history.
“It think it would mean it everything,” he stated with a serious face.
The Aggies seem to be loose heading into this weekend’s matchup against Mississippi State, and need a big last stretch of the season to make a potential playoff run.
