Top 10 moments of UGA 2025 season

The 2025 season was a magical one for the Georgia Bulldogs, regardless of the end result. UGA played in all-time classics in practically every conference game. The Dawgs not only managed to come out on top in all but one but had to come from behind late almost every time.

When you look across the entire season — all the insane games and moments — 2025 has to be the greatest regular season I have ever seen from a fan’s perspective. Especially when you consider the Dawgs went 11-1 amid that chaos.

With a season overflowing with memorable moments like this past year, it’s hard to pick just five or even 10. I am going to do my best.

Here are the five best moments of the 2025 season, plus honorable mentions.

Honorable Mentions for Best UGA Moments of 2025

  • Entire SEC Championship Game vs. Alabama
  • Oscar Delp “double kneel” against UF
  • Onside kick against Texas
  • Gunner Stockton Superman dive against Auburn
  • Josh McCray fourth-down conversion vs. Ole Miss

Top 5 Moments of 2025 UGA Season

5. Auburn goal-line fumble
The Bulldogs were less than one yard away from going down 17-0 to Auburn. The Dawgs’ defense saved the day with a much-debated forced fumble that completely turned the game on its head. After being absolutely dominated up to that point, Georgia would outscore the Tigers 20-0 after the fumble — in what looked like two completely different games. This crucial play not happening at the exact moment it was needed would have almost surely resulted in a UGA loss. We would have never seen one of the many memorable comebacks of recent memory.

4. Blocked punt against Alabama
The play that started one of the sweetest wins of the Smart era. Still scoreless in the SEC Championship, senior WR Cole Speer blocked Alabama’s punt, which would lead to UGA’s first score and a 28-7 victory.

3. Chauncey Bowens game-winner vs. Florida
Down three with less than five minutes left in the game, the Florida native and former UF commit broke away for a 36-yard touchdown to win the game for the Dawgs in Jacksonville. This moment and win marked an historic five-game win streak for Georgia over Florida. I was jumping up and down in the end zone that Bowens ran into to finish off the Gators which made it all that more special.

2. 4th quarter vs. Ole Miss
In one of the greatest shootouts Sanford Stadium has seen this century, Georgia went into the fourth quarter down nine points after allowing a touchdown on every Ole Miss possession to that point. The Dawgs would completely flip the script on the Rebels when it mattered most, winning the final quarter 17-0 after getting three consecutive stops. UGA would win an all-time classic by eight.

1. Stockton to Humphreys 4th-down TD vs. Tennessee
Fourth down. 2:36 left on the clock. Down eight. Game on the line. In his first career road start, Gunner Stockton stuns the crowd at Neyland Stadium with a 28-yard teardrop touchdown to London Humphreys to send the game to overtime, where the Dawgs would win. One of the most unbelievably clutch plays UGA fans have ever seen and a moment that will never be forgotten.

If the 2026 Bulldogs make it this hard again to pick out their best moments, we are in for an amazing season.
