The 2016 schedule revealed all of Vanderbilt’s future opponents for the upcoming year, and after celebrating their first conference win in two years, there’s hope for next season.
Here are three things to know:
- The 2016 schedule is finally out. The Vanderbilt Commodores will open up their season by welcoming the the South Carolina Gamecocks to Tennessee on Thursday, September 1.
- A former Vanderbilt offensive lineman was added to the New York Jets’ active roster yesterday. Wesley Johnson received several honors during his tenure at Vandy.
- Offensive coordinator Andy Ludwig spoke with media after workouts on Wednesday morning about Vanderbilt’s dual-quarterback system. Ludwig believed the two quarterbacks put the Commodores in better position to win games while not necessarily scoring more points.
