A former Vanderbilt quarterback will be looking for love this summer.
Jordan Rodgers, otherwise known as Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ brother, will try to win the heart of JoJo Fletcher on the next season of ABC’s “The Bachelorette.”
Rodgers threw for 4,063 yards and 24 touchdowns in two seasons with the Commodores. He went 14-11 as a starter and was the leader of the 2012 Vanderbilt team that finished 9-4 and won its final seven games. Interestingly, Rodgers describes himself as a “former pro quarterback,” despite never playing a down in the NFL.
Perhaps Rodgers’ experience playing in the SEC will have prepared him for a different type of cutthroat competition. The newest season of “The Bachelorette” begins May 23 for anyone interested in keeping tabs on whether Rodgers can find his soulmate.
