Vanderbilt offensive lineman Cole Hardin sustained apparent injuries Thursday to either a shoulder or an arm as a result of his moped colliding with another vehicle, VandySports.com reports.
Hardin, from Florence, Alabama, was wearing a helmet and taken to a hospital but was conscious the entire time, the report notes.
Hardin was expected to compete for the starting spot at center after playing on a limited basis as a reserve last season.
Update: Vanderbilt lineman Bruno Regan, who is one of Hardin’s teammates, tweeted out an update that indicates the situation may not be serious.
