Former Vanderbilt star Zach Cunningham was arguably the best linebacker in the SEC in 2016, and it appears his success is helping Derek Mason and the Commodores on the recruiting trail.
That was reflected in the commitment of linebacker Alston Orji on Tuesday night. Orji took to Twitter to make his announcement to the world:

A 4-star linebacker from Rockwall, Texas, Orji is a huge get for the Dores, and perhaps the biggest recruiting win of Mason’s time in Nashville. He is ranked as the 178th-best player in the country according to 247Sports, and selected Vanderbilt over offers from Oklahoma and Texas, among others.
