Vanderbilt basketball signed 3 players during the early signing period that started last Saturday.
According to Adam Sparks of The Tennessean, new Commodores Bryce Drew signed center Ejike Obinna, and guards Maxwell Evans and Saben Lee on Thursday.
Obinna, a 4-star center that stands at 6-feet-9-inches, is originally from Nigeria and now plays for Virginia Academy in Ashburn, Va. He is ranked the 107th-best player in the 2017 class by 247 Sports. Lee, a 6-2 point guard, is the son of former Florida State and NFL running back Amp Lee and is ranked 17th among point guards by 247 Sports. Evans, a 6-2 guard, is a three-star prospect and is ranked the 11th-best combo guard in the country by 247 Sports.
Drew and Vanderbilt will begin this season when the Commodores host Marquette Friday night.
