Vanderbilt’s season came to an end with a loss to Wichita State in Tuesday’s NCAA tournament play-in game, and now Commodores coach Kevin Stallings will spend the rest of March Madness as a guest analyst, according to Adam Sparks of The Tennessean.
Stallings will begin working for TBS, CBS, TNT and truTV on Saturday.
The Commodores were bounced from the NCAA tournament before ever even reaching the 64-team field, losing 70-50. Wichita State advanced and upset the No. 6-seeded Arizona Wildcats, 65-55, on Thursday.
Stallings, 55, finished his 17th season at Vanderbilt and has a 332-220 record. The Commodores have qualified for the NCAA tournament seven times in his tenure, but haven’t advanced past the Sweet 16. He previously spent six seasons as the coach at Illinois State.
