Vanderbilt’s 2019 recruiting class is starting to take shape.
After a slow start, the Commodores have picked up six commitments in the last week, including a pair on Wednesday — defensive lineman Daevion Davis and athlete Devin Boddie Jr.
Davis, a 3-star recruit, is listed at 6-foot-1, 315 pounds. He is the No. 23 recruit in Alabama in the 2019 class and the No. 44 defensive tackle, per the 247Sports composite.
Davis picked Vanderbilt over offers from Ole Miss, Iowa, Florida Atlantic and others.
