Vanderbilt football will play a four-game series with Colorado State starting in 2020, the two schools announced Thursday.
The Commodores will play the Rams at home on Sept. 26, 2020 and travel to Fort Collins on Sept. 11, 2021. The next game in the series will come four years later on Sept. 27, 2025 in Nashville, followed by the final game of the series on Sept. 26, 2026 in Fort Collins.
“We have high goals and aspirations for our program, to provide our students with the experience of playing against the best possible competition during their time as a Ram,” CSU head coach Mike Bobo said in a press release. “At home and away, our team and our fans can anticipate an aggressive approach to scheduling future opponents.”
Vanderbilt is just the latest SEC school to agree to games with the Rams. Alabama (2017), Florida (2018) and Arkansas (2019) were already on the schedule.
