Vanderbilt will be without OT Andrew Jelks and backup QB Shawn Stankavage for the season, the Tennessean’s Adam Sparks reported.

Jelks will once again be sidelined because of a knee injury. He missed all of the 2015 season with a torn ACL he suffered during fall camp.
The Commodores are now even thinner at quarterback behind Kyle Shurmur. Junior Wade Freebeck and freshman Deuce Wallace are the other quarterbacks on the roster. Freebeck completed two passes last season.
