Vanderbilt received a major addition to its 2017 recruiting class on Thursday evening, as 3-star linebacker Dimitri Moore publicly announced his commitment to the program on Twitter.
Moore, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound standout at Cedar Hill (Texas) High School, is the No. 39 outside linebacker prospect in the country and a top-100 recruit in the Lone Star State. He’s in the middle of a terrific senior season, having recorded 56 tackles, including 10 for loss and 3 sacks so far.
Moore’s decision gives the Commodores their 12th verbal commitment for 2017. He is the highest-rated player in that group, according to the 247Sports Composite.
