Vanderbilt to unveil new jerseys vs. UGA
The time has come for Vanderbilt to show its true color: grey.
The Commodores will debut their “Deep Water” uniforms against Georgia this Saturday afternoon when the two teams play in Nashville, Tenn. The team announced the decision via Twitter on Tuesday morning:

CBS will be in town to broadcast the game — and Vandy’s new duds — on national television. Coverage begins at 3:30 p.m. ET.
The “Deep Water” look will include a grey jersey with light gold numbers, grey pants with the team’s “ANCHOR DOWN” slogan running along the right side, and a water-themed helmet that features a large anchor logo.
Vanderbilt dropped its home opener against Western Kentucky, 14-12, this past Thursday. No. 9 Georgia took down Louisiana-Monroe, 51-14, in Athens, Ga., on Saturday.
The Bulldogs are heavily favored to defeat the Commodores this coming Saturday, with most Las Vegas sportsbooks posting lines of (-17) or more. But Vanderbilt pulled off a surprise upset when the teams last played in Tennessee.
In October 2013, Vandy rallied from 13 points down in the fourth quarter to upset No. 16 Georgia, 31-27. The win was its first against a ranked opponent since 2008.
