“I love coming to Nashville. My wife has a degree from here. I was rejected when I tried to get in. But what I don’t understand is if you people are so smart, why do you think you’re going to win today?” Finebaum asked.
Despite both teams coming in at 3-0, Alabama is an 18.5-point favorite, according to MyBookie. The over/under is 43 points. Alabama is 1-2 against the spread this season and Vanderbilt is 9-3 against the spread as a home underdog.
In Week 3, Alabama earned a 41-23 win vs. Colorado State, while Vanderbilt upset No. 18 Kansas State 14-7, for the Commodores’ first victory vs. a ranked, nonconference opponent since 1946.
